We welcome Robert L. Oprisko who is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of International Studies at Butler University and who graduated from Purdue's Political Science program in 2011. His research lies at the intersection of political theory and international relations, focusing on the structural processes of conflict and cooperation. He has recently published his dissertation as the monograph Honor: A Phenomenology and articles including "The Rebel as Sovereign". He has won several awards for teaching and research including, most recently, the Artinian Award. Many congratulations for the amazing work! www.cla.purdue.edu/polsci/gradprog/candidates.htmlAttachments:

On top of all of this, I am writing on the state of the Political Science Job Market. It's currently published in the Georgetown Public Policy Review with more development forthcoming from the Chronicle of Higher Education, the Wall Street Journal, and the American Political Science Review.
I'm an excellent candidate from a school not known to excel in political science. Hopefully, someone will take advantage of this.

Many universities will be lucky to have you, Robert! Once the application review is over you will be skyping all day long with one university or another.

I agree. How can I help Engage promote me on the job market? What is it that I can actually expect from this system?
