A warm welcome to Yasmina Vallejos, who is doing her PhD in Spanish American literature! We are very happy to have you here!
And a big welcome also goes to Linda Hughes-Kirchubel, marketing communication specialist at the Military Family Research Institute, and MA student in Communication. Please share more about your thesis topic...a lot of adrenaline there... but I am not revealing more. Roxana
And we're glad yo have Mike Hands, who is is working with the Slipchenko Group. www.chem.purdue.edu/slipchenko/Wonderful! He uses computational methods to model the behavior of water-hydrocarbon-alcohol mixtures at the atomic level. In addition, his research addresses the attitudes of the general public towards science and the implementation of informal education programs with the goal of incorporating science into everyday life.
Jokha Al Hosni, is joining us from Curriculum Studies and her research interests include TESOL (Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages!) Welcome, Jokha! Much research can be done about TESOL. Good choice! Share more with us about your projects. What would you like to work on this semester?
Lovely to see Steve Swope, Assistant Professor at University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Communication. Steve's research focuses on decision making, He's done very interesting projects one of which deals with decision making during a poker game. Really nice!
A big THANK YOU to Dr. Krishnamurthy Sriramesh, one of the world's leading scholars in communication management. Dr. Sriramesh has joined Purdue this FALL. Wonderful scholar, wonderful professor!
