"Our alumni, our friends" presents James Machado, course director for Military Communication in the Defense and Strategic Studies Department at West Point. Jim received his MA degree in Communication from Purdue University where he taught ten courses through four semesters. Before starting his graduate studies, Jim deployed with the 155th Brigade Combat Team to Iraq and then moved to Fort Carson where he deployed twice more to Iraq as a Company Commander for a Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and Aide-de-Camp for the MNF-I Deputy Commanding General. He is Foreign Area Officer and speaks fluent Korean. One of the best instructors Purdue has seen! I subscribe to what Dave said. Dave, I am not into the competition as I am part of the ENGAGE project...so I subscribe honestly! ) Not the same without the major! Grad school was much more fun then! Cheers to you both! Jim, did you active your account?
