Aleksandra Kasztalska is a second-year PhD student of Linguistics at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. In her research, she examines the construction and expression of linguistic identities and attitudes, especially in regard to world Englishes. The main sociolinguistic contexts that she has studied include Central and Eastern European public discourses, and Internet-based meme-sharing communities. Similar research interests?
